In 2006 and 2007, the vehicle went all the way around the world and also did a Eurasia crossing. The current journey is Ecofuel Transamerica , which is a 15,534-mile route from Tierra del Fuego to Alaska.

Italy have suffered another injury blow ahead of tomorrow's RBS 6 Nations clash against Wales in Cardiff. Centre Andrea Masi has been ruled out this morning after suffering soreness in his lower back, and will be replaced by Clermont Auvergne's Gonzalo Canale. Canale moves up off the replacements' bench, with Matteo Pratichetti now joining the substitutes.

A combination of pilot error, an ill-equipped aircraft and a lack of safety alerts from DuPage Airport contributed to the Air Angels helicopter crash that killed four people in Aurora in 2008, according to the National Transportation Safety Board. The Air Angels helicopter was based out of Clow Bolingbrook International Airport. The NTSB has released its final report on the Oct. 15, 2008, crash that killed 1-year-old Kirstin Blockinger of Leland and the three Air Angels crew members flying with her.

Two representative works of Caravaggio, one of Italy's most eminent Renaissance painters, will debut in China for the first time in the Italian pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo. The paintings, "Boy with a Basket of Fruit" and "Basket of Fruit," would leave Italy and be flown to Shanghai in mid-June from the gallery Scuderie del Quirinale in Rome, said Beniamino Quintieri, Italy's Commissioner General for the World Expo to be held from May 1 to Oct. 31. The paintings showcased "the Italian lifestyle"

Participants in the Couples Golf Tournament at Sun City Shadow Hills helped raise $5,300 for Martha's Village & Kitchen. The golf tournament was held Feb. 27 and 28 at the Sun City Shadow Hills Golf Course with 144 golfers, officials said. Sponsors of the event included O'Connell Landscaping, Platinum Landscaping, Advanced Retirement Strategies, Boyd & Associates, FLC Financial and Del Webb. There were also 38 hole sponsors and 14 gift sponsors, officials said.

Dwayne "Doc" Durham, Appalachian Fire's band leader, formed a small band three years ago in hopes of playing for fun at churches and civic gigs. Durham later revved up the band's horizon with the addition of Ranee Stepp, 26, a phenomenal vocalist that the band affectionately calls the "Golden Voice of Bluegrass." Stepp sings lead vocals, Durham plays guitar, Cliff Searcy plays mandolin, Dave Ploss plays banjo, Jim Fox plays solid bass and Karen Kuykendall plays fiddle.
